Three honours for Bristol & West at the Regional Volunteer Awards

A proud night for Bristol & West AC at the England Athletics Regional Volunteer Awards, where the club came away with three honours.

Huge congratulations to Eugene Hechavarria, named Unsung Hero of the Year, and to Paul Weston, winner of Services to Athletics and Running. Two people who give so much to the club, usually without any fuss, and both thoroughly deserving.

We were also proud to be named third in Club of the Year. That one belongs to everyone. Every coach, official, volunteer and member who has given their time and stuck with us has helped get the club to where it is now.

Thank you to England Athletics for a brilliant evening, and thank you to everyone who plays their part. There's plenty still to come.
