DO YOU OFFER TRIAL MEMBERSHIPS OR TRIAL SESSIONS?

Yes, you can attend your first session free of charge and use that as an opportunity to decide if you would like to continue. You must still book your first session with the coach of the session you wish to attend or the track coordinator Paul Filer.

CAN GUESTS USE THE TRAINING FACILITIES?

Yes, guests may use the training facilities at Whitehall providing it is under the supervision of a qualified coach and during a Bristol and West AC training time-slot. You can see our member and guest training fees here.

I DON'T HAVE MY QR CODE YET, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Please thoroughly check your spam emails for an email from Secretary@bristolandwestac.org containing your QR code. if you do not have your QR code please get in touch with secretary@bristolandwestac.org informing them. You can still attend training without your QR code on a one-off occasion, but you must still pay using a contactless payment method.

HOW DO I PAY FOR TRAINING SESSIONS?

When you arrive at Whitehall Athletics Track you will be asked to present your QR code at the desk. This registers your attendance and will tell you mow much you need to pay. You must then make the payment using a contactless payment method, such as credit/debit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay on your mobile phone. For regular attendees, the cheapest and easiest way to pay for your training sessions is to purchase a season ticket.

HOW DO I GET A SEASON TICKET?

I DIDN'T USE MY SEASON TICKET, CAN I GET A REFUND?

No, season tickets are not refundable or transferable.

DO YOU HAVE TO BE AN EXPERIENCED ATHLETE TO JOIN THE CLUB?

Not at all. Our coaches are experienced at working with people of various abilities and levels of experience in athletics. We welcome beginners and anyone who wants to give athletics a try.

CAN I USE THE TRACK OUTSIDE OF CLUB TRAINING HOURS?

In general, no. However, under some circumstances you may be granted special permission to use the track outside of club training hours. Please contact Paul Filer at PaulF@bristolandwestac.org for details.

I AM NEW TO ATHLETICS, HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED?

Come along and get involved. Get in touch with our coaching coordinator Paul Filer at PaulF@bristolandwestac.org who will be delighted to help get you started and direct you to a suitable training group.

MY CHILD IS ON THE ACADEMY WAITING LIST, HOW LONG IS THE WAITING TIME?

The waiting time for academy training varies depending on the time of year and the demand. Head coach of academy session, Dean Garrett will ensure you are kept up to date if you are on the waiting list, but if you would like an update please contact Dean directly at Deang@bristolandwestac.org
