Bristol & West AC are proud to announce that two of our athletes have been selected for the brand-new England Athletics Talent Pathway Programme - an exciting recognition of their hard work, dedication, and exceptional performances.

Kezia Tarzey has been chosen for the Youth Talent Programme (YTP) 2025–2027 cohort, where she will continue to develop her skills in the 100m/110m hurdles. Eleanor McIntosh has been selected for the Talent Development Programme (TDP) 2025–2027 cohort, specialising in the 400m.

The Youth Talent Programme (YTP) represents an athlete’s first introduction to the England Athletics Talent Pathway and incorporates the Diploma in Sporting Excellence (DiSE). This diploma helps athletes build essential skills and knowledge to support their sporting journey while also earning valuable UCAS points towards future university applications.

The Talent Development Programme (TDP) serves as the next step on the pathway, bridging the gap between youth and elite performance. It provides athletes with tailored support through the Talent Hub network, where England Athletics staff work alongside athletes and their personal coaches to help them make the most of the services and expertise available.Athletes at this stage are expected to demonstrate the potential to compete for England or Great Britain at international age-group level.

Well done, Eleanor and Kezia — a brilliant achievement and hugely deserved recognition!
