Pomphrey 5k, 2019-20 series

Fast and flat 5k series on tarmac paths.  UKA licensed and posted on Power of 10.

Virtual Races

A virtual version of the Pomphrey 5k races have been set up with no entry fee but an option to make a charitable donation.  There will be no prizes but the results will be available in the normal age categories U17s, Seniors, W35, W45, W55, W65, M40, M50, M60, M70 as of the 25th of May.

Race Series and Mob Match

Nine race series all starting at 7.30 pm with race briefing at 7.20 pm

We will make adjustments for those who have paid for a series entry once we know whether the June race is going ahead.


Due to cancellations, the series age category prizes are being awarded based on the best 4 performances from the first five races.

Course: Single loop with small overlap entirely on the Avon Cycleway adjacent to Pomphrey Pavilion.

Entries online: Series £40 affiliated, £52 unaffiliated. Individual race £6 affiliated. £8 unaffiliated

Entries on the night£1 supplement.

Individual prizes across the age groups: First three male and female finishers, first male and female U17’s, first W35, W45, W55 & W65 and first M40, M50, M60 & M70.

Series prizes for first in each age category.  Best 6 finishing positions within the age category to count from first 8 races.

Cash prizes of £50 for the first male under 14:30 and the first female under 16:30.

The bar in the pavilion will be open from 8.00 pm and the prizegiving will begin as soon as possible after the conclusion of each race.
