An evening with James Thie

BADtri are lucky enough to have James come and speak to them next week. They would like to extend the invite to members of Bristol and West AC. James will be talking about all things running including periodisation, goal setting, injury prevention and race prep. This is a must see event for those who want to move on in 2018

The event is at the Triathlon shop, Friday 26th January at 7pm.  If you would like to attend please email marketing@bristolandwestac.org or respond to the Facebook event.

James was raised in Clevedon, Somerset and competes for Cardiff. Having resided in Wales for most of his adult life, James opted to compete for Wales in international competition and has done so in two Commonwealth Games (Melbourne 2006 and Delhi 2010).

During his 25 year athletics career, James has represented Great Britain multiple times and has made major championship finals in the 1500m at World and European level.

Although he is still competing (he is the 2014 World Masters Indoor champion in the 800m, 1500m and 3000m) he has since turned his main focus to coaching. Since his first athlete in 2007, James now coaches over 30 athletes in distances ranging from the 400m up to Marathon.
