At the Bristol Evening Post Sports Awards Dinner held at Ashton Gate on Thursday 19th October 2017 Simran Kaur capped off an excellent Summer of 2017 by being named as the Evening Post’s Para Athlete of the Year following her outstanding performances in the World Junior Para Championships. Under coach Nick Harris Simran has progressed quickly since joining Bristol & West Athletic Club and this award is very well deserved. However, no one was more surprised than Simran (and her Mum) when Simran was also awarded the Overall Evening Post Athlete of the Year Award.
