David Eagon, making his debut for the club, posted a time of 36.12 –  a PB by over a minute.

Indian Queens Multi-terrain Half-Marathon

Peter Le Grice continued his preparations for the Berlin marathon with a convincing win by over 2 minutes with a time of 71.50.

Bitton 5K – Wednesday 9th August 2017

Club runners were prominent in both the last race in the series and the series winners In the latter Andy Cooke was first overall, Paul Taylor-Morris first M55, Jon Goodland first M60, Rosey Mushens second lady and also first W50.

The race results were :- 2 Andy Cooke 16.42; 3 Dan Cannon 17.07; Andy Tarrant 17.21; 7 Matt Robinson (First M50) 17.56; 21 Jon Goodland (First M60) 19.40; 24 Bruce Sellers (Third M50) 20.03; 30 Rosey Mushens (Second Lady and First W50) 20.17; 54 Paul Taylor-Morris (Eighth M50) 24.35; 55 Karen Watson (Second W50) 24.41.

Roseland August Trail Plague – Saturday 12th August 2017

Some of the club’s ultra-distance runners were putting in some overtime with Matt Hart fifth in 13 hours 17.26 and Nicolas Young thirty-third in 17 hours 08.25

Port Talbot Multi-Terrain Half-Marathon – Sunday 13th August 2017

Pete Clarke (M45) recorded a season’s best time of 94.21 finishing in forty-second position.

Old Down Estate Multi-Terrain 10K – Sunday 13th August 2017

Greg Chance took third place in 44.19 and Darren Stringer fifteenth in 51.37
