Charlotte Taylor-Green travelled to Oordegem-Lede in Belgium to record her fourth PB in as many races on Saturday 27th May 2017.
Towing the line with 36 other athletes, there was always going to be a bit of a congestion getting over the first few 5 metre long barriers. Charlotte attacked the race from the gun in an attempt to get a clear spot of the barriers but even that didn’t prevent her from the occasional push.
To be rewarded with a new best for the distance of 10:07.86 justified the trip to the continent and gave her the experience of running with others. The time also ranks her third in GB so far in 2017.
We have to wonder which country Charlotte will need to visit next time to get a competitive steeplechase.
