After finishing in ninth place in the Antrim leg of the UK Cross-Challenge series in Northern Ireland on Sunday 15th January 2017 Owain JONES consolidated his overall standing in the Series with a fifth place finish in 34:20 in the Cardiff leg of the event on Sunday 22nd January 2017. Dewi Griffiths of Swansea will have delighted many of the spectators with a ‘home’ victory in 32:58. Hugh SADLER produced another solid run with a seventh place finish in the under-17 men’s race in 19:17; the race was won by Irishman Darragh McElhinney in 18:32.
