parkrun Report – Saturday 21st January 2017

It was another cool morning on Saturday and unusually the temperature at local parkruns at 9.00am was still below zero.

David AWDE was the first finisher at Ashton Court in a time of 17:10, with Jarlath McKENNA in third place in 18:04 and Paul JEFFERSON fourth in 18:25. All were first in their Age Categories, as were Bill HULL, Pete MOUNTAIN, Tanya CHOWDHURY, Nicola OLDROYD and Jennifer OWSLEY. Felicity RUSSELL had a PB with a time of 27:55.

Ciaran MCQUADE was first at Chipping Sodbury in 17:32 and Dan SCHOFIELD had a twenty-nine second PB in second position. There were also PBs for Geoff PARTRIDGE, and Clare SHINE.

Maciej BIALOGONSKI’s time of 16:39. A PB by twelve seconds, secured him third place at Pomphrey Hill. Harriet WILLIAMS was the first female in 21:36. There were PBs for Dave HORNE, Grace EVANS and John KAVANAGH.

Down the coast at Burnham & Highbridge, Jonathan GOODLAND was the first VM55-59 in 20:03, which was a PB by four seconds The Performance of the Week goes to Michelle EDGELL who had a time of 26:54 which was a PB by fifty-five seconds. Michelle was also second VW45-49.

North of Bristol, Mark BURLEY and John O’DWYER, were first and second at Wotton in times of 19:19 and 19:59.

In London Phil PARRY was first at Southwark, in 17:03 and with an Age Grade of 88.66%. Claire HALLISSEY was the first female at Tring with a time of 21:02.
