The North Dorset Village Marathon takes place over an undulating course in the beautiful countryside of rural North Dorset. Runners are rewarded for their efforts with an enamelled medal and a technical tee. Many competitors will be keen to replace those lost calories as quickly as possible and so all runners are entitled to a free hog roast (or vegetarian/vegan equivalent), snacks and drinks, including free beer, that are provided at the finish line.
There is a relay event to cater for those who don’t fancy the full distance. The relay is for teams of four and takes place at the same time over the same course (details are available on the event website). The cost of entry is £30 (£32 unaffiliated). The postal closing date is 28th April 2017 with no entries on the day. Further details can be found at www.ndvm.co.uk
