The Tyntesfield FGF runs are on 18th November 2016, 2nd December 2016 and every other week (including 30th December 2016!). There is not a New Years Day organised run this year (sorry, I mean next year).
The Leigh Woods FGF runs are on 25th November 2016, 9th December 2016 and every other week.
The next Trust10 at Tyntesfield is on Sunday 27th November 2016 at 9 a.m. However please note that the December Trust10 will be on Sunday 18th December 2016 – for fairly obvious reasons!
Details of the Tyntesfield and Leigh Woods Feel Good Friday runs are as follows:
The Tyntesfield Runs
Led by members of the Nailsea Running Club, the Tyntesfield run is open to all abilities – no one will be left behind. It’s not competitive! Meet in the lower courtyard of Home Farm, from 9.45 a.m. to register and for a welcome briefing ready to run promptly at 10! The run lasts for an hour finishing roughly around 11.00 with a complimentary tea/filter coffee in the Cow Barn Restaurant. No need to book, just turn up on the day, but please have the correct money – £3. NT members please remember to bring your membership cards. Remember; as this is a “paid for” event, car parking charges do not apply.
The Leigh Woods Runs
The cost is £3: The money going as a credit to towards a FGF t-shirt. The refreshments kiosk has now finished for the year so there will not be anything available after the run. Your run leaders suggest you might like to bring a thermos flask (containing whatever!) and biscuits or cakes as a sort of DIY solution. (Nutritional note: fruit such as bananas would be better!). The rangers at Leigh Woods are not always in the office, so don’t bring bags and valuables to the start. There is nowhere secure to leave stuff. Coats could be left at owners risk behind the office. Led by members of the Bristol and West Athletic Club, the Leigh Woods run is open to all abilities – no one will be left behind. It’s not competitive! Meet at the National Trust Reserve Office hut in Leigh Woods from 9.45 to register and for a welcome briefing ready to run promptly at 10! The run lasts for an hour finishing roughly around 11.00. Cycle racks are available at Leigh Woods by the National Trust Reserve Office hut. If you are driving in please park towards the western end of North Road (BS8 3PL) and make your way through the fence gap, up the blue trail and turn right to the hut (about a 3 minute walk).
