Feel Good Friday Run – Leigh Woods – Friday 5th August 2016

As part of the Sport England strategy and in conjunction with England Athletics, the National Trust are collating data on who uses their sites for running. Once analysed this data will then be used to base future running events that will hopefully continue to appeal to existing and to new runners and will build the running community that uses NT estate. We would appreciate your time to fill in the survey which can be found here: Survey. It really is very short and sorry if the title misled you!

The Feel Good Friday Run will take place at Leigh Woods this Friday 5th August 2016.

The cost is £3 with refreshments available after the run you have the option of your entrance fee going to towards a t-shirt, as previously, or instead you can have a tea or coffee. So please bring along some loose change to buy tea, coffee, snacks, depending which option you choose.

The rangers at Leigh Woods are not always in the office, so don’t bring bags and valuables to the start. There is nowhere secure to leave stuff. Coats could be left at owners risk behind the office.

Led by members of the Bristol and West club, the Leigh Woods run is open to all abilities – no one will be left behind. It’s not competitive! Meet at the National Trust Reserve Office in Leigh Woods from 9.45 to register and for a welcome briefing ready to run promptly at 10! The run lasts for an hour finishing roughly around 11.00.

Cycle racks are available at Leigh Woods by the National Trust Reserve Office but if you are driving please park in North Road (BS8 3PL) and make your way via the blue trail to the hut. http://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/leigh-woods/how-to-get-here/
