As a result of various factors including school holidays and the London Marathon; Bristol & West AC were represented by forty-eight runners at a total of thirteen parkruns on Saturday. That is believed to be a record. These varied in popularity from Bushy with a total of 969 runners to Beckton with forty-nine.
Maciej Bialogonski and Scott Watkins were first finishers at the Pomphrey Hill and Parke events. Becky James and Nina Davies were respectively first and second at Little Stoke.
PBs this week were recorded by Paul Jefferson, Catrin Davies and Jennifer Nowecki at Ashton Court. Paul Jefferson takes the Performance of the Week honours for his PB, his first for over a year at Ashton Court.
PBs at other events were achieved by Jessica Monk and Dave Taylor at Little Stoke, Alan and Sheila Wilcox at Beckton, Isobel Medcroft at Chipping Sodbury and Scott Watkins at Parke.
