Victoria Kenney is a member of Bristol & West Athletic Club who at her best ran 9:58.31 for 3,000 metres as a 16-year old and 4:48.8 for 1,500 metres 3 days after her seventeenth birthday. Early in 2013 she won the South-West Schools cross-country and went on to finish second in the English Schools Cross-Country on 16th March 2013. Shortly thereafter her battle with anorexia meant that she had to give up running and the last year was a struggle. However, she is now happy to report that she has finally pulled through and is now planning on running the Bristol 10km for BEAT and she would love the support of members of Bristol & West Athletic Club. She is very open about what she has gone through as she believes she can help to prevent something similar happening to other young female athletes in the future. Her fundraising page and story is explained on www.virginmoneygiving.com/team/forvictoria.
