The purpose of the evening is to give women the chance to have a coached run and gain high quality, valid and reliable information to help with preparation for the Bristol 10k. That said, the Evening is open to women of all running abilities, who will no doubt have varied aims and objectives with regards to what they want from their running.
Basic outline for the Evening
6.30-6.40pm – arrive, register
6.40pm – coach led running session, dynamic stretch session – Keith Brackstone
7.30pm – Presentation and Discussion about nutrition – Sue Baic
8.15 – 8.30pm – Running Injury Question and Answer Session – Claire Callaghan
There will be an Open Sports Injury Clinic (free 10 minute reviews with a University of Bristol sports physio) available at the end of the evening.
