The second Longleat Half Marathon will take place on Sunday 16th March 2014. Starting from the historic house, enjoy the atmosphere in this unique setting, taking in exotic and unusual wildlife along the 13.1 mile route and make every step count in the fight against heart disease. The stunning 13.1 mile route around the grounds of Longleat is mainly on tarmac roadways, with some hard packed paths included. It is slightly hilly in places. Club athletes are reminded that this is the date of the Midland Senior Men’s Twelve Stage and Women’s Six-Stage Road Relays and Team Managers are hoping to field strong ‘A‘ and ‘B’ teams in both races – meaning Mike Down will be looking for at least 24 men and Keith Brackstone will be looking for at least 12 ladies (and 18 if there is a demand for a ‘C’ Team.
