Owain’s Antrim Adventure

Owain Jones started 2014 with a trip to Antrim on Saturday 4th January 2014 to represent Wales in the thuird leg of the British Cross Challenge series. As usual the event attracted a small but elite group of African runners and the first five places were filled by four Kenyans and a Ugandan with Japhet Korir of Kenya the winner in 28:40. Owain finished a creditable sixteenth in 31:05 and the first Brit home was Andy Vernon (AF&D) who was sixth.
