The 2013 Club Endurance Championship is now beginning to take shape as the end of May positions include results from the Bristol 10k as well as performance tables based on results from the Park Run and Pomphrey Sports 5k races up until the end of May.
The current leader is Peter Gandon with an accumulated 184 points, scoring 75 in each of the Pomphrey Sports 5k and the Ashton Court Park Run plus 34 points for his run in the Bristol 10k. In second place overall is Scott Watkins: like Peter, Scott has scored 3 events with 85 in the Park Run and 42 in the Bristol 10k – so a better Pomphrey Sports time in the second half of the year could see him overhaul Peter.
In third place is Greg Chance, who has also scored 3 races. Greg has accumulated 150 points: 30 at the Bristol 10k, 55 from the Park Run and 65 from the Pomphrey Sports 5k.
Currently the lead lady is Jessie Sanzo on 90 points from just 2 events. Jessie has scored her points in the Bristol 10k (40 points) and the Pomphrey Sports 5k (50 points). Given her form over her 3,000 metre track debut there is every chance that Jessie could improve on her Pomphrey score.

Remember both the County 10k (Tuesday 11th June) and the Avon Pomphrey Sports 5k mob match (Tuesday 25th June 2013) score points towards the overall championships so now is the time to line up both these events and add some significant points to your total in the overall standings.
