Ashton Court Parkrun – Saturday 18th May 2013
The better weather brought out the runners to Ashton Court on Saturday with a record equalling attendance of 268. There were twenty-five runners from Bristol & West. As your correspondent was not present at Ashton Court, and has not received a multitude of emails describing stories of scandal and intrigue, this report is going to be rather brief.
For a change there were actually some PBs to report on. Mathew Payne had his eleventh PB in fifteen outings and Graham Grout had his second successive PB. This week’s Performance of the Week goes to Vanessa Redmond. Having got to within 11 seconds in August 2012, she finally broke the 30 minute barrier with a time of 29:42.
