Emily Diamond SIgns Off with Treble Gold

Emily Diamond signed off at her final British Universities and Colleges Sports Track & Field Athletics finals at Bedford from 4th to 6th May 2013 with three gold medals. A 23.87 clocking into a .8 metre per second head wind gave her individual gold in the 200 metres before she assisted her Loughborough Team mates to golds in the 4 x 100 and 4 x 400 metres relays. Their winning times were 47.20 and 3:41.79. Other notable performances from club athletes were a fifth place in the Men’s 100 metres from Scott Bajere in 10.61 (2.3 metre following wind) and a sixth place from Dr. Oli Mott in the 10,000 metres in 31:27.14. Failure to submit team declarations by the due date meant that there were no athletes from Bristol University this year. (apologies if there is anyone I have over-looked in the results).
