Full results from the Gwent League races at Bath on Saturday 9th February 2013 are now available on the league web-site at http://www.gwent-league.org.uk/2012/res124.htm .
There are several club athletes in the top 10 individuals with one race to go. They are as follows:
Under-13 Boys: 8 Anton Mills (221 points), 10 Kyle Haynes (209).
Under-15 Boys: 3 Corey Haynes (148), 5 Kieron Dunkley (139) and 8 Billy Cochrane (119).
Under-20 Men: 1 Keiron Young (66).
Under-13 Girls: 6 Eloise Brown (254) (Hannah Hobbs of Westbury is second with 262 points so Eloise could still pull up into the medals).
Under-17 Girls: Miranda Sadler (69)
Senior Women: 4 Charlotte Green (610), 8 Sarah Everitt (556).
In the Team Races the club team’s positions are as follows:
The Senior Men are third on 4,935 points (43 behind Cardiff University and 160 in front of Wells City Harriers).
The Under-15 boys are second on 523 points (70 points behind Wells City Harriers and 75 points in front of North Somerset AC).
The Under-13 boys are second on 861 points (112 behind North Somerset and 27 in front of Wells City Harriers).
The Senior Women are second on 2,988 points (24 points behind Westbury and 157 in front of Chepstow Harriers).
The Under-13 Girls Team is fourth on 692 points (42 points behind Neath and 124 points in front of Bridgend).
So there is a lot still to play for – let’s get a good club turn-out across both genders and all age groups at the final race in Brecon on Saturday 2nd March 2013.
