Ashton Court Parkrun 28th July 2012

Everyone got there early, but waited in vain. There were no royal entries by parachute at today’s Ashton Court Parkrun. Not even a D list celebrity jumping out of a tree. On the plus side, Ashton Court did maintain its rural appearance instead of being transformed into an industrial landscape.

Bristol and West AC provided 18 out of the 175 runners, with Rich O’Kelly making a rare appearance coming second in 18:59. PBs have been rare recently, and today was no exception with only Gary Jennings and Andrew Malloy hitting the target this week (Roger Brocklesby wrote this with archery on the box, hence the terminology). Performance of the Week goes to Gary, who got his first PB since 1st October 2011 and on his 18th attempt.
