We are now four days into the Kenyan Pre-Olympic Camp and of the track and field athletics contingent to date a javelin thrower, two male 400 metre runners (one flat and one hurdler) and two female 400 metre runners (again one flat and one hurdler) have arrived. Further athletes will arrive on Sunday and Monday (including David Rudisha) and we currently anticipate that there will be an open training session which the public can come and view at the Kip Keino Athletic Stadium, South Gloucestershire and Stroud College, WISE Campus commencing at around 10.00 a.m. on Monday 9th July 2012. However, our early experience is that the Kenyan team have a flexible approach to the timing and choice of venue for sessions so please check the blog on the Bristol and West Athletic Club web-site for the most up-to-date information.
