Warm, overcast and fairly humid conditions – but no wind – greeted 20 parkrunners from Bristol & West Athletic Club on Saturday 2nd June 2012. Club members achieved seven Ashton Court PBs.
There was little adverse reaction to Tuesday’s Bridge Inn 5k with club runners achieving first and second in both the men’s and women’s classifications and holding off a cross border challenge from the San Domenico club in Cardiff. Robin Dallman, Peter Mountain, Julia Belyavin, Sarah Everitt and Carron Downer, all of whom ran both races, achieved PBs. Other PBs were set by Matthew Brace and newly joined club member Catrin Davies. Further down the field, whilst not achieving PBs, club members maintained their improvements, notably Andy Butterly and Sue Campbell.
