Multi-Terrain and Road Races in Wiltshire

The following multi-terrain and road races will be held in Wiltshire in the coming months:

Saturday 19th May 2012 – The Shaw Stampede: this is a 10K multi-terrain run around the villages of Shaw, Whitley, Neston & Atworth, near Melksham. The event is hosted by Stampede Sports in partnership with Avon Valley Runners and is accompanied by a 2K Fun Run and the village fete.

Wednesday 6th June – The Trowbridge “Diamond Jubilee” 5K: celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee by running 5K on a certified measured course around the town with all finishers receiving a Diamond Jubilee medal.

Tuesday 12th June – The Melksham 5K: A flat, certified accurate course with the potential for fast times around Melksham’ s Bowerhill.

Thursday 28th June – The Great Chalfield 10K: A certified accurate and picturesque 10K course takes runners from Broughton Gifford, through the grounds of Holt Manor and past Great Chalfield Manor, the setting for many period dramas.

Sunday 26th August – The Foxtrot 5: Race #8 of the Wiltshire Race League provides a certified accurate five mile course around Broughton Gifford with the potential for fast times.

Sunday 16th September – The Melksham 10: Race #9 of the Wiltshire Race League incorporating the county championships for the distance, as the certified accurate course takes runners around the historic village of Lacock.
