Saturday’s Ashton Court Parkrun saw 20 members taking part but with a stiff breeze at the top of the hill fast times were not the order of the day. Leading the B&W AC contingent was Colin Traer in sixth place in 19.20 with first M50 Peter Mountain seventh in 20.16, both creditable performances given that the effect of a 16 x 220 metre session on Thursday would still be in their legs. Jacob Butterly was only just outside his course PB in 20.41 and he was followed by second lady Tracy Allen in 22.22. Paul Noyce returned to the fray with 23.03 while Alex Leitch recorded 23 19 and Rikki Porter 23.39. Close behind was Graham Grout, second M50 with a course PB by 16 seconds in 23.46, while Margaret Salter was sixth lady and second W50 in 25.07 with Noel Arthur next missing first M55 by 1 second in 25.24.
Claire Viney was tenth lady in 25.11 followed by a cluster of Andy Butterly, who produced another solid performance with 27.53, accompanied by Sarah Everitt warming up for the Frenchay 10K in 27.54, and Matt Payne setting yet another course PB, this time by 2 seconds in 27.59. Alison Engledew too was warming up for the Frenchay 10K with 28.54 and Kate Monnelly returned to the fray with 29.23. Debbie and Martin Riddiford and Emma Withers and Denise Williams closed the B&W AC contingent home in 31.02, 31.50, 33.20 and 33.35 respectively.
