With the spring weather arriving there is a new enthusiasm for training and events. The Bristol University Sports Medicine Clinic aims to keep runners running. This is a busy time of year so to be sure of being seen before a big event make sure you book up now.
The Clinic aims to keep their clients active and pain free, working not only to treat injuries, but prevent recurrences. To support them, they have a multidisciplinary team comprising of physiotherapists, an osteopath and sports masseurs. The Clinic has been official physiotherapists to the RunBristol events for the past 9 years and has staff working at the upcoming Olympics.
If any club members have a niggle or a query the Clinic runs regular FREE open sessions. This 10 minute consultation provides advice on how best to treat the problem.
The Clinic is based in the University Centre for Sport, Exercise and Health on Tyndall Avenue, Clifton.
