Support Your Children – Learn Officiating

Bristol & West Athletic Club always need more people to help officiate at their matches.  It often falls on a very few people to assist with tasks from judging a Javelin throw right down to even just raking the Long Jump pit.   No doubt your children expect good judging or timekeeping at local events so why not help out by learning just how easy it is do the tasks that count in running an Athletics match.

The following information is about just such a local Course that will set you in good stead to step forward and help with sound knowledge of what you are trying to achieve.  You will find it is all worthwhile and very satisfying.  So please sign up for the course below.

A Level 2 Course in Track Judging, Timekeeping and Field Event Judging will be held at Filton College on Sunday 4th March 2012.   It is an all-day Course that ‘will allow you to work under the supervision of a qualified official in the specific discipline that you choose with a view to you eventually becoming a fully qualified UKA Technical Official.’
