It was another record breaking morning at Ashton Court for the Parkrun on Saturday 19 November 2011 with 18 Whitehall Recreational Group or Bristol & West Athletic Club members running. Richard Lowe was second home in the same time as the winner with a course PB by 20 seconds of 18.00 followed by Greg Chance improving his course PB by 10 seconds in 20.15. Diana Kennedy was first lady home in 20.19, with Gary Jenning returning after a troublesome knee injury in 21.02, first M50. Darren Overend knocked another amazing 36 seconds off his course PB in 21.33, while Carron Downer was first M55 in 22.31. Sarah Everitt was only 15 seconds shy of her course PB in 22.46, Alex Leitch coming back after a nasty chest infection did 23.06 followed by Helen Brooks who took a massive 52 seconds off her course PB in 23.19. Alison Engledew recorded yet another course PB by 18 seconds in 24.01, reducing her time by a grand total of over 2 minutes since 23 April 2011. Alison seemed rather pleased! Rikki Porter made his course debut in 25.01, followed by Lebert Scarlett in 25.26 and Noel Arthur in 26.31. Rebecca Yeates eluded the timekeeper, but had to contend with painful diaphragm cramp, but was around 25 minutes nevertheless. Emma (Bowers) took her parent’s dog around the course in 28.39, Paul Burgess still chasing a sub-30 clocking ran 30.28 and Andy Butterly and Dave Engledew (recovering from a chest infection) did 32.39.
