There were more course PBs and several near misses at the Parkrun on Saturday 2th November 2011. Richard Lowe was again first Whitehall Training Group member back in third place in a “classy” field. His time of 18.24 was just 4 seconds slower than his course PB. Given that we think the Parkrun is a good 50 seconds slower than the Bridge Inn 5K course, Andy Dunn should be quite pleased with his debut of 20.06. He was closely followed by first lady, Diana Kennedy in 20.14 who is on the mend from a chest infection. Next up was Mo Osman, the second near miss, in 21.02 only 6 seconds shy of his course PB. Darren Overend recorded yet another course PB by 32 seconds in 22.09 and has knocked off over 3 minutes off now since his first run on the course. A little cluster of our members came next with Ben Hambly having had stitch last week running much faster in 22.04, Jacob Butterly 22.11 despite a cold just 6 seconds short of a course PB, while Carron Downer set a course PB by 8 seconds in 22.30 and Sarah Everitt did the same, a course PB by 3 seconds in 22.31! Alison Engledew ran her second fastest time on the course with 24.29 and it was good to see Noel Arthur make his debut at the Parkrun with 26.49. Meanwhile, Andy Butterly, like Jacob, was 6 seconds short of his course PB in 32.21 and Denise Williams closed the team in 33.28.
