Kate Goodhead’s second run for England on the country this winter was another success as she finished tenth in Hannut on Sunday 13th February. In a race won by Gemma Steel in 19.58 and notable for Steph Twell’s broken ankle, Kate’s time of 20.32 saw her just half a minute down on the winner and 11 seconds in front of Emma Pallant of Aldershot, Farnham and District who was third scorer for the England. A post-race hamstring tweak left Kate missing the National – where her ppresence would surely have lifted the senior women’s team into a team medal position.
