Vicky Tester led a trio of Bristol & West Ladies home in the Bramley 10 on Sunday 20th February 2011 when she finished 22nd overall and first lady with a chip time of 62.40. This was a huge personal best for Vicky and shows that her recent training in Chris Elson’s group is paying dividends. Behind her, also in a PB, was Julia Belyavin in 37th place (fourth lady) with a chip time of 66.13. The third member of the trio, Lisa Newing, was fity-fifth (and eighth lady) with a chip time of 69.06. There are no team results on the Reading Road Runners web-site but unofficially with 3 in 8 we believe that Bristol & West won the ladies team race. It is clear with athletes in this form there will be some fierce competition for places in the Road Relay teams in March and April.
