Some of you maybe aware that from 9th August-26th August I will be trading my running trainers for a helmet and wheels and getting a very sore bum by cycling the length of the country, from Lands End to John O’Groats, 900+ miles.
Its a challenge I have always wanted to do, and now seems a perfect time,a sort of graduation present!
I will be taking up the challenge with my two house mates and running buddies, Cat Foley and Jo Maddick. After three great years together at Loughborough Uni we are now heading our separate ways, and what a way to mark the occasion than to embark on the challenge of cycling the length of the country! We have also decided to raise money for the Bristol based charity, Motivation.
Most of us probably haven’t thought twice about how lucky we are to be able to cycle. In the developing world, more than 20 million people need wheelchairs but do not have one. Lack of mobility can lead to poverty, social exclusion and a reduced quality of life. You can help change the lives of people in developing countries who have mobility disabilities by sponsoring us to cycle the length of the country, and raise awareness of this fantastic cause.
For more info on motivation check out www.motivation.org.uk
Please, help us support Motivation by sponsoring us at www.justgiving.com/3girls3bikes1adventure any amount is really appreciated.
The three of us have a little competition going on, who’s running club sponsors the most! So we have Bristol and West Vs Kingston Hull Vs Nene Valley! So all your sponsorship is vital in proving Bristol is far superior to Hull and Nene!!!
Your support is much appreciated
