The senior Women took Silver at Yesterday’s National Cross Country Championships. In slippy, muddy conditions our runners put in a strong performance to claim the silver after a close battle with Hallamshire Harriers, who took Bronze. Charnwood, who were always just out of reach, took the gold.
On a day in which Parliament Hill was bathed in glorious sunshine, for our runners, it was a day of mixed fortunes and incomplete teams. The Under 15 Boys and Junior Women narrowly missed out on medals, both finishing in 4th place. While the Junior men could only manage 7th place.
